He was a cardiology fellow from 1996 to 1998 and then completed his eletrophysiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1999 to 2000. He is the Director of Clinical Electrophysiology and Warren M. Jackman Chair of Clinical Electrophysiology at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
